OUR SERVICES

Common problems on Euro cars are : oil leakage, coolant leakage, transmission problems, cylinder head gasket, turbo leaks and electrical issues.

Check

Engine Light

If your light is on, it typically means the car’s emissions control system is faulty and the vehicle is polluting the air beyond allowable federal standards. A vehicle in this condition would fail an emissions inspection or smog check.

  • Gas cap is loose: Tighten the gas cap. If you've lost it, replace it with a new one.
  • Oxygen sensor is bad: You'll need a new sensor — but identify which one is bad first.
  • Spark plugs may be fouled or failing: Replace the spark plugs.
  • Spark plug wires are bad

Don’t confuse the check engine light with the maintenance or service light. These lights illuminate when a routine service is due. They are usually triggered by mileage, gallons of gasoline consumed, or some other type of vehicle-use measurement.

Engine rebuild

Think you might need an engine restore or rebuild?

Check out these common symptoms and see if yours matches up:
The engine knocks and rattles when it’s idling. It’s usually a bottom-end knock caused by worn-out bearings.
You’re always puffing a thick cloud of smoke from your exhaust. It’s worn-out seals that usually cause your engine to burn oil.The timing belt or chain broke. Many engines have interference-style engines that are badly damaged internally when the timing belt breaks.
It won’t turn over. It could be seized, but you’d better check the battery, the starter motor, and the wiring before an engine rebuild.
The engine clatters when you’re accelerating. The pistons are moving around in the cylinders too much, and you’ll need an engine rebuild to fix it, even though it runs alright.
There is always room for engine upgrades. Most of the time it makes more sense to upgrade to forged internals such as forged pistons, forged rods, and upgraded rod bearings. Forged components can hold more power.

Brake System

Services

When it comes to brakes, we know your brakes are the last thing you have time to worry about. Our brakes repair specialists make sure you leave our service center with peace of mind knowing that your car received the best care, all at the right price!

Brakes are one of the most important components in a vehicle. If you talk about performance it includes good brakes also, because if you go fast you need the same amount of stopping power to reduce that speed.

BRAKES & BRAKE REPAIR

We want our customers to have the opportunity to feel comfortable in their vehicle. You can leave the repairs and services to our professionals, but please don’t hesitate to ask us questions about why a service is needed or how it occurred. We will be happy to speak with you. Here is some valuable information on brake issues and corrective services:

Brake Pad & Rotors Replacement

Brake pad problems can usually be identified by squealing brakes. If your brake pads deteriorate completely, you’ll hear a grinding metal-on-metal sound when braking, meaning that it’s too late and you’re ruining your rotors! Those with knowledge of auto repair may be able to fix this at home, but you should always see an auto repair professional immediately if you have brake problems.

Caliper Replacement

The brake caliper houses your brake pads and fits around the rotor like a clamp, pressing the pads against the rotor when you brake. A brake caliper problem could cause uneven braking, making your car slide forward when you brake. Uneven braking can also cause your vehicle to slide out of control in bad weather conditions, so contact us as soon as possible

Brake Hoses

A brake hose is a tube carrying pressurized brake fluid from the master cylinder to the brakes. A crushed hose can cause a lagged or slow brake, and a leak in the hose can cause the brake, or the entire brake system, to fail. These don’t need to be replaced often, but should be replaced at the first sign of cracking or wear.

Brake Fluid Flushes

Brake fluid will absorb water from the air over time, causing the brake system to become less effective and the fluid to become corrosive, possibly damaging the system. It is important to perform a brake fluid flush regularly to ensure that your vehicle is using fresh fluid. Talk to our technicians about when it’s time for a brake fluid flush.

Wheel Bearings

Wheel bearings are found inside of wheels, allowing the wheels to spin freely, and are connected to the brake system. They can become worn over time, causing a vibrating suspension and noisy rubbing as the car is driven. If they break completely, the vehicle will become very difficult to control and unsafe to drive. Replacement intervals for wheel bearings vary greatly, but they should be checked for leaks and wear periodically. We can make sure that your bearings are in good shape and let you know if they need replacement.

We want our customers to have the opportunity to feel comfortable in their vehicle. You can leave the repairs and services to our professionals, but please don’t hesitate to ask us questions about why a service is needed or how it occurred. We will be happy to assist you.

Transmission

Oil Service

Transmission fluid is a slippery liquid that acts as a lubricant for all of the moving parts inside your transmission. In an automatic transmission, this fluid also serves as a coolant and a viscous fluid that transmits power from the engine to the transmission.

Manual Transmission

In a manual transmission, the problem is not so much the fluid degradation, but rather fluid contamination. This contamination occurs over time as the synchronizers, bearings and gears in the transmission wear out. The resulting metal particles then float around in the lubricant. And we all know that oil with microscopic particles of metal in it does not lubricate as well as clean oil. So if these contaminants are not drained out, they will shorten the life of your transmission.

Automatic Transmission

Because more heat is generated in an automatic transmission, automatic transmission fluid actually degrades and breaks down with use.
It’s important to regularly check the transmission fluid level between service intervals. Letting your car run low on transmission fluid can cause the transmission to shift improperly — or not at all. It also can harm the internal parts of your transmission, which will not be properly lubricated. Unfortunately, you may not hear any noises or have other clues that your transmission is low on fluid, until it’s too late. So it’s important to get it checked.

Suspension diagnosis

and Repair

There are two common suspension systems in a vehicle: front and rear suspension systems. Of these two, the most common is the front suspension system. It is the one that poses the highest risk to a vehicle if it is faulty or damaged. The stability and steering control of a vehicle greatly depends on the suspension system of a vehicle. If the suspension system is not in good shape, the safety of the vehicle and passengers cannot be guaranteed

It is the one that poses the highest risk to a vehicle if it is faulty or damaged. The stability and steering control of a vehicle greatly depends on the suspension system of a vehicle. If the suspension system is not in good shape, the safety of the vehicle and passengers cannot be guaranteed.

Suspension issues can be difficult to diagnose. It’s usually pretty easy to tell the symptoms, but identifying the source of the issue is a whole process. Faulty or worn shocks, struts, springs, tie rods or ball joints can wreak havoc on your vehicle and make your car or truck unsafe to drive.

The suspension system consists of tires, springs, shock absorbers, struts, arms, bars, linkages, bushings, and joints. The suspension system components are located between the frame of the vehicle and the road. Well-tuned suspensions will absorb bumps and other imperfections in the road allowing the people inside the vehicle to travel safely and comfortably.
